what is the difference between in fwd turbo transmission and a non turbo fwd on 4g36?

The front wheel drive turbo motor is a 4g63. The front wheel drive non-turbo motor is a 420a. 2 completely different motors and 2 completely different transmissions. The bell housing on the transmission of a 4g63 motor bolts to the left side of the motor. The non-turbo transmission bolts to the right side of the 420a motor. That being said, the transmissions bolt up in a completely different way, and on opposite sides of the engine bay.

ok.. i just bought the car n its a 4g engine in it n its fwd n/t

The transmissions are interchangeable between the turbo and N/T 1G FWD. However, the turbo tranny seems to be stronger and holds more power.
