Hello everyone thank you for taking the time to read my thread . I have owned older turbo cars (86 shelby charger) and am not affraid to get my hands dirty i have an eprom burner and the means to socket my own circut board. I have recently bought an 97 GSX it has a full mandrel bent turbo back exhaust and a Garrett big T28 but the car just isn't what i feel it should be so i am thinking it is in the computer. For my turbo dodge stuff i have all kinds of wild programs but can't seem to find anything for my GSX . Any help would be Great thanks Mark

Are you sure it's the computer and not possibly the wastegate flapper staying open? That's one of the reasons for not getting what you would suppose to be (that and the boost leak test to make sure you're not loosing pressure somewhere at the couplers). A T28 can be run with stock ecu and no tune and you should be able to tell a difference.

Do you have a boost controller or are you running stock boost? How is the car tuned now or is it just a stock ecu? What injectors? Your profile doesn't show much in terms of what's in there.

Also, posting for help here isn't your best choice. You'll get more responses/help if you post in the Newbie thread (since you're new that's the only place you can post): http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/

Helllo Lurker, Unfortunatley the person i bought the car from didn't even know it had a T28 on it . The way i found out was removing the heat sheilds to fix a coolant leak. Therefore I am not sure what injectors are in it i do know I need to figure that out. I put a manual Gauge in the car and it is holding 15psi of boost using the factory solenoid. I have a manual boost controller i would like to put on but know that there are things i need to know first. Thank you for the information on the newbie section.
