Nova,
so, I was going to slide a tube over the horn on the RFL, cut it so that it contours to the backside of the horn, and weld it in place. bam, now i have a loud bov that is not going to be running rich. Man I love fabrication work.
whadya think?

if you wanted to do that, you should've got the TurboXS Type H34 RBV. basically it's an RFL without the horn.

I;m not dissing on it but there's no point. Like someone else mentioned just get the H-34 it's the same vavle w/o the horn which is the point to it being RFL.

yeah, but this was cheaper than the H34, theyre everyplace now and can be had used for like 120 with adapter. thats why....im cheap.

both the H34 and RFL are the same price. i have the H34, and i vent it to the atmosphere. it's almost as loud as a regular RFL (the horn shape makes the RFL louder), but i also have the option of venting back in to the intake if i wanted to;)

dont understand what the whole fuss is about... (it being loud or not). I personally like the more silent type. Dont like to have a huge "sign" that says... HERE COMES A TURBO....

...guess it makes kills more fun! ;)
we just like to make pedestrians on the sidewalk jump:D

hehe one time i blew off (this was with my Greddy BOV) and the poor guy on the bike next to me almost fell. i wasn't tryin to scare him either.

Is there anyway to vent to the atmosphere without running rich on a greddy or hks BOV? This might already be answered so just drop the link if you don't want to waste typing time.
Thanks
