Joe P Manual Boost Controller inside car?

hi i got a Joe P MBC a while back ago...still haven't put it in.....well the point is tha i was lokking at the Hallman EVO Manual Boost Controller which lets you adust boost level from inside the car. Well now i am thinking .....would i be able to do this with ana nd Joe P....what if i got longer vacum lines...and cut a hole in my firewall....would this work in theory?....thanks for the help

Ya it would work, but it would be shitty. Horrible lag, and probably some wicked spike too.

Friend of mine tried that in his ford probe gt (older turbo version)


God it was a riot watching him trying to control boost with the throttle when it woudl spike.

boost spike is where you set your boost controller... to let's say 15psi

you go wot -- boost jumps to 20psi and then settles back to 15psi.... not a good thing.

-Road///Race's owner Mike Welch has a MBC9back-up) inside his road race 1G along with a PRofec-B, he said you can play with the orifice's size to reduce the spike but I forgot the formular on how to figure the size.
