I am trying to buy boost andair fuel gauges. I found the ultra-lite autometers to be well priced and seem to be a good deal, except everyone says theyr not back lit, so can you not see them at all at night???? I would like suggestions on what gauges to get, and where to order them from.

Also in the process of buying a BOV i have found most recommend the greddy type s for about 225, i would like to hear feedback on that/where i could order it from/if its a good idea. Thanx

The Autometer ultra-lite gauges are backlit with a standard bulb. I wired mine into my dimmer switch and they work perfectly. I bought mine from Ebay member j55564; a good price and arrived within a few days.

Personally I've never seen a gauge without a backlight. I have 2 autometer gauges and they work perfectly. I actually live 15 mins from the factory where they are made in Sycamore IL. And with the BOV, unless you are a huge fan of the swoosh noise, the crushed 1g BOV works perfect for most DSMers.

Thanx for the help. I ordered guage pods from lo tek and carbon fiber gauges from dsm parts.....do the gauges come with all the pieces to hook them up out of the box? :dsm:
