2G AEM cold air intake?

what are you talking about, that just cools the air after being compressed by the turbo, I'm talking about a new air box to replace the stock platic one and get a cone type filter, such as aem's model. INjen also has a pretty good one I think. still anyone with experience please post your opinions.

-My apology, I have no idea what the hell I was talking about.
-Ummm, I wonder why most of these so call "cold-air" intake systems are made for the NATURALLY ASPIRATED cars.

Well, Would it not be better to not start out with cooler air from out side to engine bay. Where would you put it?

it would be better to start with cooler air but its not that big of a deal.. the problem on the 2gs is the MAS. you have really no where to put a CAI becuase of the MAS.. A few people have made custom ones but the difference was negligible supposedly.

Anyhow for a good intake you can either pick up Injen or the ones from Dejon Tool.. www.dejontool.com

If I were you I wouldn't worry about cold intake and just get a K&N FIPK or something along those lines IMO. That's what I decided to do and I'm happy with it. :)

cold air is not that important ,the 120+ degree under hood air works just fine.

there are no true cold air intakes for the dsm's because of the maf sensor and the lack of room in the engine bay. just get a maf adapter and a good filter, shouldn't be more than $60. works fine. ifyou wwant, go to dejon tool and get a maf to turbo pipe. their stuff is nice and good prices too.
