I just got a Spearco core that is 24x7.9x3.5 inches. I am tring to figureout how to install this with the least amount of cutting. Also for the cutting I shouldn't have to cut into the bumper support, right? Could someone please guide in the right direction on how to fit the piping through the two wholes on the side of the radiator around the power steering lines. This is for a FWD 1g. Please post if you have a website where they install a similar intercooler with detail or if you have done it yourself. Thanks

Don't think that I'm just slacking here, but vfaq.com has very good isntructions on mounting FMIC. I'm yet to recieve mine, so I'll be traveling down the same river soon too.

Good luck.

I recently put a Buschur street core on my car and yes there's a lot of cutting involved. I just ditched my bumper support and as for the piping, you have to make those holes quite a bit larger.

TRBOTSI: If you ditched your bumper support then how did you keep on your bumper if it bolts to the support well at least on the 90-91's. Also what about the small lines that go to the power steering cooler on the side right side(facing the car) and the other small line on the left side. Did you have to remove or bend them. These are the wholes that the piping went threw. Do you think if you had left the bumper support you would have had to cut it? Thanks for your input and help.

If you leave the bumper support you have to do a lot of cutting. I removed my AC also so the condenser was taken out, and as for the power steering lines, I got rid of those, too.
