First off, let me just say that this is a bi*** to do, at least for me. I wasn't able to finish it today because it got dark but I'll have it done next time I can get out there.

But my question is...what exactly does this do? I'm just following the directions that came with DSMlink but I am interested in why this needs to be done.

my no lift to shift option is awsome! i do agree the wiring up in the dash took a while! but trust me man, its well worth it!!!!:thumb:

It actually is pretty easy I installed mine in less then 10 minutes. However you need a needle type soldering iron to make it easy. IF I had to use my gun it would have been a PIA.

Clutch Cut wire allows:
-Stutter box. (builds boost)
-NLTS - this smoothed out my shifting and also increase speed of my shifts.

Basically what this will do.
Stutter box:
-set up via laptop - ( I have my launch RPM at 5700)
-Push the clutch to the floor (has to be touching lower switch)
-Then just push the gas to the floor. (first time around I suggest pushing it slowly so that you know if it's working or not)

The car will bounce off your pre set rev limit (ie: what ever you set it for via laptop) and you'll start to build boost basically the longer you hold it I think the more boost you'll make.

Once you let off the clutch your rev limit will go back to your normal set Rev limit.

NLTS:
-Set your rev limit via laptop (I have my set at 5500rpms)
basically what this does is just lower your rev limit so you don't hit fuel cut. I have mine set to where the next gear/RPM will/should be. (my normal rev limit is 8K)

Hope that helps.
