Had the car compression tested for the hell of it last night and these are the results.

cyl 1 2 3 4
141 149 150 140

Im not sure how accurate the gauge was, and we only tested it once.

Well on the 1G (90-94) 2.0L Turbo Engine the standard compression is 164 (from the factory) and the service limit is 121 - So you are looking pretty good:thumb:

My 90 TSI with 100k on it has 155 psi across the motor. Still pulls as hard as brand still with the stock turbo and psi all stock yet!
If you really want to know the condition of your engine have it leak down tested but if it is running fine dont wory about it. The engine will tell you when something is wrong.

Did you get the car upto operating temperature (hot hot) before you did the test? You need to drive the car then come back and do your compression test right away. If the car is not at full operating temp it can skew the compression number a lot.
