i dont even know where to start with the instalation of this thing, i am a complete retard please help thanks

Get the wiring harness. It is about $15 and well worth it, no cutting and splicing of important wires. This makes the installation a breeze!

1) Decide where you want to mount to TT
2) Remove lower steering column cover (3 screws)
3)Run wire to area below steering column
4) Plug one end of harness into plug in dash right behind the piece you removed, and plug other end into the TT harness.
5) Replace steering column cover(s).
6) Tap one wire (I think it is the brown wire) to parking brake.
(Other wires are not *absolutely necessary*, no model number is listed, this is just for the basic settings on a basic TT)
7) Permanently mount TT.
8) (optional) Crack open a beer and relax.

ill take the beer, well the whole 24 pack, i am so stressed about this car right now, i need a keg or two. working on replacing the head gasket, reaplacing the master cylinder, stilll lost on the the TT installation...... car life sucks right now
