The FPBig28 is said to be a good turbo, It looks stock and bolt up perfectly just like stock.

The 16g is also a proven turbo, however it needs an installation kit to put it on which is about 300 bucks. And alot more work to install also.

I would get the Big28 since it is $750 after core.
The 16g is about $600+300 installtion= 900 and alot more work

The FPBig28 is said to flow between the small16g and big 16g.

Thanks for the info ...... what kind of hp im i going to be looking at withg the T-28 before turning the boost up ?

DONT get a T-28. Get a Big28. They are two different turbos, And I believe it can support up to about 375hp.

the big28 is Sh!T ??? and what do you have? and was there any mods to get yours on ? just need to know dont want some crap on my car

you just spin your tires that much turbos power that fast huh ? so a really good turbo for an awd like me then huh ?

i think everyones got me set on the Agp Turbo there better looking, better tec suport, Better price,Groop deal for Dsm'ers, <where force proformance wouldnt budge> and possible better flow and hp.
Now i said POSSIBLE so no one flip out on me =0)~

the Big28 is still a good turbo for FWD but your going to have to learn how to throttle the car properly without flooring it and spinning the tires..

The 16g is supposed to spool a lil slower and pull harder up top.. If I was to start all over a 16g doesnt sound to bad.

the top end is a world of difference compared to the T25.. for instance.. I went from 99mph to 104mph with just adding the fmic and big28 on my car in the 1/4... I threw in some C16 and ran 109mph.. Pretty damned impressive trap speeds for the Big28 atleast IMO..

IM on the list for the AgpT25/28 yeahhhhh babby cant wait to get this bad boy !!!!!!

Just go to DSMTALK.COM and go to the racing forums and look at the times list for upgraded turbos. Scroll down to BIG28 times. Exp-- Gixxed spyder ran a 107 on pump gas with his fwd. Hor just ran a 12.4 @ 108 with his 2g awd on race gas, and with a smallish type supra SMIC. That 108 trap is awesome considering his car is an awd. Larry as he stated earlier ran a 109 UNTUNED. If most of your races are from a roll on the streets like mine are, cause I'm not a drag strip guy, nor am I a big fan of excessive turbo lag, then this turbo will be perfect for you. The BIG28 is a great turbo for the steet or strip, or auto X. From a roll this turbo will rock your world in a fwd, and I'm saying that even though I still need a fmic and some HKS 264/264 cams. I have hurt a lot of peoples FEELINGS on the streets with this turbo.

That a turbo from turbochargers.com . The so called stage 2 turbing wheel they said is what comes with most T28s. Except this one has a Big16G compressor wheel. I think the Big16G wheel is less efficient at higher boost levels compared to the compressor wheel that the Big28 uses. But it might flow a little bit more. I can't imagine it being that much better.

I'm running a FPT28/28 with 6cm housing unported. I ran 12.7 @ 105 with race gas when I had three huge major boost leaks. And I ran a 13.61 @ 99.7 with those big leaks too on pump gas. That was with stock cams. Unfortunately now that I finally fixed the leaks the track is closed. The car feels way stronger after getting the leaks fixed. I kept up from with a friend who traps 104 on pump gas. And pulled on a buddy who traps 106mph from a roll. I think it's probably trapping around 108mph on race gas. But will see next spring. I will have the manifold and turbine housing to a 7cm gasket.

I'd like to push this turbo as far as I can. I'm hoping to get it to 110mph. Does anyone know if they make a real 7cm housing for the T28 that bolts up to our stock manifold?
