is there anything i need to worry about while removing the lines and whatnot? any tips? any warnings? i just need some help when doing this cuz the haynes book blows on this subject. thank you ahead of time, mike

um... there are major fines if you just purge the system to the atmosphere, if it hasn't already leaked out. If it hasn't all leaked out, just leave it in. If it has, it's just cut and rip.

Im sure he dont care about fines cause im sure hes gonna do it in a garage and not in front of people who care. But my a/c just took a shyt, i think its the compressor cause i can turn on the a/c and i have no power loss and no cold air. Anybody who could help him out would be great cause Im about to do the same.

I once changed a turbo in someones front yard, well it sucked and coolant leaked every f'n where, next thing I knew I was staring a city enviro. employee in the face. It wasn't great, but, if you just undo one of the bolts on the ac unit itself no one will know and no one will see.
