I did a search but no luck ;(

I'm getting everything off my car while I'm waiting on my install kit. The only thing I don't understand about the install is the water lines. Do you install the water lines like they were from the t25 and then swap the rubber hoses (every vfaq i read says you have to swap the feed and return lines). Thats where i get confused...do you swap the hard lines or the rubber ones....i read about needing some 3/8 line to extend one of the lines so it will reach. Sorry if I seem so lost. Thanks.

I'm assuming you run them like in the pitcure i attached and just swap the rubber lines. Thanks for any help.

Swap the hard lines and buy new rubber lines. Put the bottom line on the top, and the top line on the bottom. You will have to do a little bending of the hard lines to get everything to line up right, but it looks really nice when you're finsihed. I bought 3/8" fuel hose for the lines, and cut it to length. I didn't have enough of the old hose to make it to the new lines, and it was pretty old, so it should be replaced. Make sure there are no sharp bends in the hard or soft lines, as it will kink and restrict flow.

Matt.

swap the two water lines. I bent mine, and replaced one of the rubber hoses with a heater hose from pep boys.
With the oil lines, you need a new oil feed line, you should have that. You can use your stock oil return tube with no modification, just use a new gasket.

so you put the hard lines back on the 16g opposite the way they are on the t25? or are you just replacing the rubber lines and swapping them? sorry guys my brain isn't working...anyone have a picture with the lines ran?

take the line that was on the front of the t-25 and put it on the back of the 16g. Take the line that was on the back of the t-25 and put it on the front of the 16g. You can use your stock rubber lines but you will have to do a little bending. *I* replaced *one* of the rubber lines with one that was slightly longer, just because thats what my particular situation called for. You probably wouldnt have to.

look here(vfaq): http://www.vfaq.com/mods/2G-16G-2.html

they have a picture with water lines if you scroll down

You do have to modify the oil return....the bolt holes have to be filed closer together.

and yes, your literally swapping the side on which the metal lines are.

Well I'm still confused and I just did it last weekend. I ended up doing it like Tom commented in Step 21 of the VFAQ. I couldn't figure out how everybody was saying to "swap" the hard lines, so I just put them on the best I could and it worked after a little bending of the front line and adding a longer rubber hose. I should probably take a picture and post it to make sure I didn't screw something up, although it seems to be working fine...

If the water isn't leaking, then its fine. No magic in it, anbd it doesn;t matter which direction water flows through a turbo, so your cool.
