catback over or under the axel?

can you have a 3" mandrel bent over the axel? doesnt look like it can fit.. 3" looks like it will have to be crush bent over the axel to clear.

is it safe to run it under the axel? looks really close to the ground (esp, if you lower your car)

if anyone is running their 3" mandrel under the axel, how is it?
for ppl running their 3" mandrel over the axel, is it crushed? (note it is hard to see the bent behind the axel, you cannot see the condition of the bent behind the axel. we just took out my friends 3" we cut it off before the axel to pull the pipes and was supprised to see the bent behind the axel.. theres no way you can see that unless you see the muffler shop at work. very tricky to get it over the axel, unless a pro race shop familiar with dsms, they theyll crush behind the axel. even stock ones are crushed over the axel)

ive never seen a 3 go over the axle...mine scrapes a lot though

I believe the Buschur 3" goes over the axle.

Yes it can be done, 3" above axle.

I have mine done at a custom exhaust place. The clearance is very tight though, so custom stiff mount points were added to make sure nothing hits the chassis.
