I finally broke down and bought a type s after geting sick of my crused 1g bov.

My q: is how do YOU have yourse setup??

did you leave the lower nipple vented? plugged? looped to the IC piping?

how did you determine how tight to make your spring setting??

mine is working fine and all, just curious..

Leave the nipple vented. If you get compressor surge its too tight, turn the adjuster a little counter clockwise (most important). If you get a whistle sound after the bov sound its too loose, Just turn the adjuster back to the right a little. If it's not making either of the sounds (just the pssst noise) than leave it alone, it's fine.

ok, so the whistle is bad, and the flutter is bad..

mine flutters then whistles...
