driving the car today, was doing a 3 gear wot pull. hit like 5500 rpm and got off it, but the car kept giong. not thinking, i put it in neutral and it bounced off the rev limit for 4 or so times until i turned the key.

pedal has like no pressure until the last half of pushing on it, its real firm.

checked under hood. tb is closed. cable is kinda loose, but even if the cable is snapped, that wouldnt cause the tb to open. why in the world is my car going wot by itsself, even when the tb is closed?

any ideas? im lost.

Check all pivot points (under the hood and under the dash).
Check all cable turns and ends.
Do you have cruise control on your car? Check that it is not opening the throttle.
Check the throttle plate for something holding it open.
Are all connections around the TB and intake mani. still made?
Check out the ISC.
There are probably some more, but thats all I can think of for now.

Can you datalog it? See if anything seems out of spec.
