Hey Guys,
I have finally finished my 6 bolt swap. It seems to have taken forever, but that's what you get when a friend does the work on the side. Anyway I should be dynoing it and getting it tuned after Christmas. Here are some pics. Happy Holidays everyone.

Brett.

Is your turbo oil and water cooled or just oil? What is that fitting on the side of the turbo?

Please tell me you didn't 90deg the CHRA and have the return coming out horizontally?

I appreciate the post Thxbrett, and I actually have a question. What modifications are necessary to a 2G head to fit a 1G 6 bolt block? I have searched and found that the head bolt passages would need to be machined 1mm overbore to allow the 1G head bolts to pass through. Am I correct and is this the only thing that would be required?

That's my fuel cell brace for the trunk. There is a separate Bosch fuel pump for the 8 gallon fuel cell. Duel maps on the ecu and duel tanks for the different maps(high boost 100 octane+/low boost 91 octane) That way I don't have to mix gas all the time to enjoy the high boost map.

The turbo is oil and water cooled. Which fitting are you referring to? The blue one?

I actually swapped the entire 1st gen motor into my car, not just the block. I am sure there are some guys on this forum that have done that swap.

Looks great - VERY clean - damn those 2G engine bays are tight - only thing I'd do is loop those throttle cables down against the firewall vice stock - Congrats on completion of the benchmark all our 2G brothers are considering...

Lets see. The motor was $900, Turbo was $1400, Intercooler was $1000 with piping and hoses and clamps, Tial wastegate $220, Custom V-Banded Exhaust $750, Dejon Intake $275, Magnacore Wires $100, Manifold $400, Samco hose $200, Heat sleeve $100, Blitz SBC-ID/Power meter $650, Fuel Cell $300, Bosch Pumps $550, Evo VIII Water Spray Kit $200, HKS Cams $450, Greddy BOV and Tubing $350, ACT Clutch 2600# $400, SR Flywheel $295, 650cc injectors $300, Front and Rear Powerslot rotors $350, Front and Rear Hawk Pads $180, Brake lines $100. I think thats about everything?
Labor was $1200 for everything. I don't even wan't to add that stuff up.

My old motor crankwalked at around 85000 miles, that's why I swapped the engine. Thanks for the compliments guys.

I noticed that as well. 750 for an exhaust, huh? It better give good head AND make power.

No head unfortunately!:( The V-Band clamps and wastegate dump tube added to the cost, plus I have a twin tip muffler that cost a little extra.
