I will be upgrading my fuel injectors, pump, and SAFC this spring, and I also plan to upgrade to one of those EVO III Turbos with the Evo O2 housing. But as of now, I still am running a T25, daily driven at 15lbs of boost, with these supporting mods:

- Weapon R Hyper Filter Intake
- Intake Pipe (generic Dejontool-style one)
- Greddy Upper/Lower IC Pipe Kit
- Greddy Type-S BOV
- Thermal 3" Catback (will get 3" downpipe, and cat later)
- APEXI EL Mech. Boost Guage
- Etreme Motorsports MBC

I only paid $300 for the Greddy FMIC 18" kit, and its in practically perfect condition for that price. The guy sold it to me so cheap cause he just upgraded to the 24" Greddy on his 11 second 95 GSX, so he just wanted to get rid of it. (he's also selling his VPC for $350, but its Christmas time, and I don't have the money for that now, but what a price)

Anyway, what do you guys think. I would love to install this thing on my car, but if its going to hinder the T25's efficiency, then I'll just put it in the basement til the turbo comes this spring.

Edit: BTW, I did do a search before making this thread, but people seem to have mixed reactions to this issue in the threads that I found. So I figured I'd try to get some "new" feedback before making the desision.

probably the most noticeable efect you'll see is that your turbo will spool a bit slower, and is not actually that the turbo is spooling slow, is that you'll have a bit of pressure drop, so it kinda takes more time for pressure to reach a desire level, but once you've reach full boost (say once you're going 3000rpm and over) you should feel indeed more power out of your engine, or a stronger pull for that matter... but all this does not have any bad side effects, so this means you can go ahead and install your FMIC...! happy driving...!!!!

Thanks for the info man. I'd rather have this thing installed on my car rather than sitting in my basement anyway. I was more than surprised to see that the kit will mate up with the Greddy Upper/Lower IC pipe kit I got with no problems at all. It will be cool to have all hard pipes. Currently saving for the fuel and turbo upgrades as well. Plan to get them in March or April after the winter dies down a bit. Thanks again for the info.
