ok guys i am looking into purchasing the HAHN TDO6H20G-TDO6H10CM2. i wanted some feed back from people who own or have experiance with this turbo. i would be buying the whole install kit and high flow manifold i am not to excited about 4 gaskets from head to turbo. i am going to be purchasing the o2 elminator kit as well like i said i dont like gaskets. and what else is required for me to put this turbo on if i dont go with the 2nd gen style i realy dont like the 90 degree bend comming from the housing it looks like crap. i belive i need a stock placment 1g style lower ic pipe? not exactly sure. i had a big16g from RRE(that blew out the oil seals in under 500 miles with no races on it and proper install) with a j pipe and i know its not the same placment as that. so some info or light shed on this would be great thanks in advance.

P.S. im a tuner not a ricer dont answer me like one:dsm:

Ask any racer, any real racer....Hahn s20G is a big piece of shit. And for the record anyone who actually tells people they're a tuner, is more than likely doomed from the start. Cheers

So what did RRE say when you contacted them about it? Seals don't go bad by themselves. You might want to figure out why it went bad before you put another turbo on.

i dont apreciate your reply. hasnt your mother ever told you if you dont have anything nice to say then dont say anything at all. i dont care how fast you think your car is or whatever problem you have. ITS PEOPLE LIKE YOU THAT RUINED DSMtuners.

RRE had nothing to say they couldnt explain it. no prof that they did it or that i did it. i installed it according to there steps. the turbo was never dry started or anything. i have since then put on another 16g that i purchased from a friend and it has worked great no problems at all. and i installed it the same way. RRE has also sold friends of mine turbos with bent waste gate acuators. go figure. i wont shop there ever again. plus there customer service stinks. LOL if we dont answer the phone "we might be working(breaking something) or (instaling crap) under a car" i will continue to buy products from other suppliers that are concernd about the DSM comunity. i am realy getting fed up with people thinking they know what they are talking about. i dont understand when someone asks for help and you refuse them or throw crap in there face? most people on this forum disgust me:|

maybe someone with a nice attitude can help me out with my first question? you know whats real funny chris martin from GT motorsports run this turbo how come he dosnt say its a big bleep idy bleep bleep. is he not a real racer.

LMFAO, I'm just giving you the common knowledge that nearly everyone else on this board knows already. Knowledge that has somehow surpassed your very intricate and delicate mind. The Hahn S20G is a POS, do a search on it. And next time try and keep your highschool replies to yourself...tool.....

And to try and give you a little help, ditch the H20G idea altogether. There are much better turbos out there, and to buy a H20G when faced with so many other competent turbos is ridiculous. Check out SBR and AGP for good turbos and good customer service

you know what i tried to go back and edit it because i didnt want to stoop to your level but im sorry that you had to read that. on the other hand how come so many people are using 20g's and alot of fast cars have them on? you dont have to be a punk about it. and explain to me how you do research. you cant get an answer with out asking a question. you know what forget it dont post in or on any topic i reply to or come up with first. stay away from me.

A guy down here locally has a Hahn Super 20G and the thing doesn't get full spool until exactly 4K rpms and he gets blasted by another guy with almost the same mods but a PTE 50trim.

Hahn Racecraft makes good injectors but so far their turbos don't impress me.....

Then again I run an 18G so you all hate me too.

You're just too damn fun to stay away from..But seriously, it's not the 20G that's the problem, t's the HAHN 20G. People have been VERY succesful with 20g's but not the Hahn 20G in particular. If you're dead set on a 20G get a Buschur or a TD06H SBR 20g.

i am staying with mitsu style or mitsu turbos. i live in california and its not practical for me to swap back and forth turbo setups. and pass SMOG all together. i need a bigger turbo to realy do anything else i can stick with a 16g but it dosnt have the potential i would like. maybe just sell my car altogeth. this is getting stupid.

oh well now that you want to be nice maybe i will take some advice from you. why dont you instant message me AIM fiantihonda and yahoo the_anti_honda

An SBR 20G is a Mitsu style 20G. The Hahn 20G is just too lagy.

And why wouldn't you want to use an excellent turbo like the PTE 50trim which is cheaper and more powerful?

Seems like you need to check things out more.

Oh and if you want to sell that thing, Ill give you my car +cash payments. Love the silver 2Gs ;) :D

i live in cali and i cant run a 50 trim because i cant go external waste gate. so i am stuck with internal and im not doing an internal 50trim thats a wast of turbo. plus the pain in the @$$ for the rest of the mani and the new this and that its more expensive also.

what manifold does this turbo use. i have heard so many diffrent things i dont know what is what with the diffrent 20g's

how come you have to use the high flow manifold from hahn to use the super 20g-H and N series turbos. just because the same flange dosnt mean that its the same placment.

Actually, their injectors suck, too. They are rated at 50psi, not 43psi. So their 625cc flow rating is wrong. It is much lower.

So, how fast do you want to go that a 16G won't support the speed? Is it a horsepower requirement? A 1/4mi E/T requirement?

All the back and forth bickering in here needs to stop now.

anti-honda: The reason the Hahn 20g uses its own flange, is because its a Hahn 20g. No other 20g that I know of (aside from the "Killer") needs a custom manifold to bolt up. Internal gates are available for most series of turbos, just call the company and find out your options. Most places like SBR and AGP will be glad to assist you in working out your setup.

Don't tell me that:cry:

I thought their rating is at a lower duty cycle though than the likes of RC engineering so even though it is at a higher psi it is still accurate. I dunno.....

your responce is VERY un-needed. go back to bed and when you catch a clue then come back. as far as the s20g, i have it and like it. it spools up kinda slow but once its spooled you better hold on!

for the price, you can't beat it though. the gasket problem isn't to bad since your getting arp bolts so you can make em REAL tight
