Ok guys I am looking into getting a FMIC to accomidate a 50 trim from AGP in the near future. The price tag for the Dejon Tool Race FMIC is very atractive. The benefits of having it are the ability to keep the fog's, short rout pipping, and I am definitley going to do the GM MAS and MAFT conversion and they make a very nice pipe for the 3 inch GM MAS. So does anyone have any opinions on that paticular intercooler? Any other recommendations? Anyone with this set up? Performance gains on the Dejon Tool Race FMIC? Pics? Thanks in advance for the info guys!

I have it.

Indeed it is a nice setup.

The pipes are EXTREMELY short routed, and the upper pipe is PERFECT for a MAFT setup. I currently have the Tial BOV installed now and will be heading to the junk yard this week to complete my MAFT setup.

I wouldnt recomend anyone with something smaller than a 50 trim to buy this FMIC. The core itself is HUUUUGE, it takes up 75% of the front of the car, and reaches way up to the top of the bumper as well, there will be no keeping the bumper support with this setup. The piping is a large 2.5" as well.

ANy other questions, shoot me a pm ;)

You might want to look into our FMIC as well. Our price is cheaper and we use Spearco cores which are the beat. let me know if there are any other questions.

Looks like a very nice unit RnR. The Spearco cores are tried and true. Anyone have the RnR kit. Still want to hear from those of you with the dejon tool FMIC too though.

Dejon's race FMIC is $897 with the full pipe kit. So Im just curious how RNR claims to be cheaper? Because they are not.

also Dejon included any color powdercoating of your choice.

I will be buying the dejon kit, however I noticed you said something about keeping the fogs? Quote from dejon's site:
Minor trimming of bumper is required. Stock fog lights go

I did notice you have a 2gb eclipse tho, They may be referring to 95-98 talons and 95-96 eclipse's. Have you emailed them to ask?

late reply sorry.

cannot keep stock fogs.. the end tanks reach far out ;)

If I had a camera Ide take some pics for you.

I have dejon tool's modded SMIC and all IC piping. Craftsmenship is very good and good pricing at dejontool. Dave isn't the best phone personality ever but his product is top notch....Im sure the FMIC is good too judging by what I've seen.

The free powdercoating is a nice addition to spruce up the engine bay.

Did I say "spruce up" ? Pardon my gayness.

i just got my rnr fmic for my laser. I'm happy with it the core is very big and the endtanks look very good. The piping is short which is nice can't really comment on keeping the ac or fogs as i got rid of both.
