I have a turbo 6 bolt block, and I am dropping it into a 1993 Talon.
I have a 93' Talon 5-speed tranny also. I cannot get the tranny to fit onto block, because either tranny to small, or flywheel is to big? Anyone know about that? Also, dropping in just the block into the Talon, the mounts I am using were what was hooked up to my non-turbo 7 bolt block, and I put them onto the new 6-bolt, but the engine sits wierd, and seems to be crooked. .. ? ? ?

Do I need to buy engine mounts from a 90-91' Turbo Eclipse/Talon, or is their major work needed like welding?

Do I need a new flywheel (Will a new one have a smaller diameter?)

OR
Do I need a new tranny?

The turbo has a F5m33 trannie (big bellhousing/flywheel) and the n/t has the F5m22 trannie(small Bellhousing/flywheel).
So it's up to you the flywheel will be cheaper, but the bigger trannie is better with the turbo. The mounts.... well i didnt have a problem when i did my 7-2-6 swap but the f@#$ing thing wouldn't run, still won't.. what the hell, right:cry: I'll figure it out if i ever work on it again!!LOL.
