First off I have a 1995 TSI AWD. I tried searching the forums and I guess I am not all that good at it. If links are provided I will try them. Well anyways I am wanting to do a 4g63/4g64 swap. I am planing on buying a 94-95 Galant block, and a 1G Eclipse head. Is this the combo i need? Also what else will be needed? I have time and a few dollars to do this project. I would like to know what will be the best forged piston/rod combo to use. I would like to keep this on a budget but high quality if possible. I am planning on the fp3056 turbo or will this be too large for the street. I would like to hear from people who have actually done the swap or have a great deal of knowledge about it. Do I need to go ahead an knife edge the crank since it is all apart. Thanks

Thanks for the link.... I think ill just build a 2.3 stroker to put in it. I was wondering what all I would have to do to install a 6 bolt swap. The 2.3 stroker is alot cheaper this was plus i have a reduced chance of crankwalk. Thanks again for the info on the 2.4.

Is the only thing ill have to replace is the block and a complete 1g head (head, intake manifold, tb) to make the 2.4 6 bolt swap? Will everything else bolt up and plug in? I want to go ahead and forge the bottom end to make sure it is up for the big turbo. What all will I have to replace on the head to set the timing perfectly. Also what kindof fuel support will i need for an estimated 500-550whp.

If you are gonna do a 6 bolt block, you will need to do all the common things of swapping a 6 bolt into a 2g car.

So a 2g head will be ok with a 4g64 block (6 bolt)? If all I have to replace is what is on the list from the pervious post them that will be the setup i choose. Also will the fp3052 turbo be large enough for this or will it be too big.
