ACT 2600 question

wich ACT 2600 do i want,i have a 91 GST , do i want the 6 puck or what ? its a daily driver.... i'm buying a motor soon... cant decide a jdm motor for 900 or a rebuilt for 1700.... but any way i want to put the new clutch in since i'm gona have the car apart any way ..... and mines a slippin' let me tell ya

disk should be fine .... 6 puck is more grabby but you won't need it unless you are pushing A LOT of hp. 6puck aka -> tranny breaker.

nothing wrong with RAm but stick with ACT it been proven.

ACT 2600 street disk. Nothing else. it will hold over 500hp

I wouldn't go with the 6 puck.I have one that was sent to me in mistake.It is way to grabby and driving is a pain in the A$$.Stick with the street disk I am planing on going with on myself as soon as I cna change it.

Just a question, will I be able to break all 4 tires loose off the line with an ACT 2600 and street disk. I've been told I can by some and I can't by others. Will I? It's not a big deal because I don't really care either way, I'm jsut wondering.

You can spin all 4 no problem. I have 225/50R16
on mine spin all through 1st with the ACT 2600.
Best 60' so far is a 1.72 because it breaks the tires
loose, and thats with slipping the clutch out the hole.

But just so you know that pedal gets pretty heavy with the 2600
pressure plate.

Yeah I'm over it. I will definitely give up comfort for performance.

Yes you can still break the tires loose with the 2600 and street disk. I am still breaking mine loose while in 3rd gear with no problems.
