my car will eat oil after a rebuild? I have wiseco pistons and rings in there now and after 2.5K miles it is still taking like 1liter (1 Liters = 0.26420 US Gallons) of oil for about 500 miles or so...

take it back to the shop for a compression test and a leak down. it will let you know if its your engine or not. your engine should be running smoke free by now.

Yeh...this is normal after an engine rebuild because the rings have to seat properly. But after 2500miles...you should be running perfect now...take it back.
