Mods:

1. BCS Restrictor Removal (doesnt really matter anymore)
2. K&N FIPK of course
3. Phantom Roadworks 2.5" Turbo Inlet Pipe
4. -30 tp +30 psi Boost Guage
5. Manual Boost Controller
6. Dave Brode Upper IC pipe
7. 1g BOV (not crushed)
8. Hacked Dump Tube
9. Catch Can (doesnt matter either, just thougth Id throw it in)

What psi should I run while I save up for an EGT? I have not installed most of the stuff but have it and will install it soon.

And should I set it during the day or night? I heard you will get higher boost at nighttime.

16 psi is the most you can run on the stock turbo and feul system for that matter. I ran mine at 15 psi for about 6 months( now i got a t-28) but it did seem to hurt anything though. I had full exhaust though. I don't think your supposed to turn up the boost very much if you don't have any exhaust mods so i wouldn't run more than 13psi. I'm not for sure about that though. Get some exhaust on the car that will help more than turning up the boost for now.

That is what I read somewhere, cant remember where. That you should have a full exhaust to run 15psi, so should I stick to 13 then?

I wouldn't run any higher than 13psi without any exhaust work done....i have a cat-back on mine and i only run about 14 psi....it could handle 15 but it depends on how much you want to push it.

I dotn want to push it, I am saving $800 up for a 3" o2 eliminator Turbo Back exhaust -w- test pipe and an EGT guage. Then I will go up to 15 or 16 psi.

Opps, I have a K&n FIPK and a 1g bov, and a bolt on can (just muffler) (i know, but it was just sitting in my garage so I welded it on) With out messing with anything Im getting 15 to 16 psi off the bat then drops to 13-12. Is that treible of is it ok. I didnt mess with anything! I got my BCS in place and no boost controller. Should I get a MBC and turn it down?

Yes, get a MBC to control it. Most likely the reason you are getting 15-16 psi is because of teh 1g BOV. the K&N should give a couple psi but it wont give it to the car if you run the 2g bov because it wont hold more than 12psi. Now puttin the 1g BOV on without a MBC is why you are running higher than normal.

I run 15psi on my big 16 (ported) with no EGT I reeeeally need one though. Im running the 3 inch o2 eliminator along with a 3 inch Thermal.
I watch my AF and it shows rich even with stock injectors. I need to get a EGT so I can get a rough tune.
