dose any one know if there are some compressior maps for the big 16g and or any other mits turbos

Those "CFM" turbo maps on the Stealth 316 web site are a load of crap. Look at the raw maps instead.

The odd thing is that I have run 26psi (2.76 pressure ratio) and 44.1lb/min (0.285 airflow rate) with my Evo III Big 16G. That puts me well off the end of the compressor map for a "Big 16G". But the car made some incredible horsepower with those settings. Enough to run 118mph.

I think that the efficiency doesn't really matter all that much if you have a decent intercooler (and I don't, really). Flow is what matters.

Sorry for the hijack but,

Shape i'm just curious has to what your ET was on your 118mph run??

It was only a 12.5. I had horrible wheelhop on that run. I guess that comes with an extra 60hp that you aren't expecting. See, I turned the boost up higher than I expected to. I thought I only turned it up to 23, but I turned it up to 26, with a 29.7psi spike. I didn't expect the turbo to perform well at that high a boost level, but it did. Anyway, I'm glad I made the mistake.

I was scared of the 29psi spike, though, so I turned it down a little (24 to 25psi) for the rest of the day. My mph still hovered around 116.5mph, though.
