turbo made in germany

Hi guys
I have question about turbo upgrading.
I live in Poland, Europe and there mitsu turbos are very rare. But there is a millions cheap turbos for germans cars. Is there some turbo form that cars (for example audi) that will serve as say big 16?
I know they will not fit directly but there can make me custom manifold. My engine is 1G 1990 with 14b.

KKK manufactures most of the Porsche, Audi and Volkswagen turbos past and present. The K26 came on the early Audi 5000's and were capable of around 300-325hp. The K27 came on the 911's and are capable of much more but I'm not sure where they max out. I beleieve the KKK turbo's use a T3 flange. FWIW, the KKK turbos are very well made, althoug some of the early K26's had problems with thrust bearings and leaking oil.

You can build a adapter to mount a T3 to the stock manifold. Way cheaper than building a custom one. Here is a pic of one with a kit. http://www.automotosports.com/dsm_turbo.asp
