1995 gst with turbo restrictor removed, joe p boost controller, running 14lbs boost, cold air intake,3"down pipe and apex exhaust, greddy ic piping. im looking for guess on hp im going to the dyno monday,i have a o2 housing w/ the dump pipe but im not sure what that really does for yeah? im going to the dyno monday dsm:

200 to the wheels.

By the way you should be running 14 lbs with no boost controller with the restrictor removed, or at least mine does.

are you still running the stock o2 housing? i installed the boost controller to turn the boost down to 14 it was at 17

um... i thought boost controllers could only raise boost. Maybe that's MBCs, i don't know about electronic ones. Anyway o2 housing's stock.

well when i first hooked it up and went for a test run the good ole boost gauge swung over to 25psi so i had to pretty much completely close the mbc to get it down to 14

Any boost controller can raise or lower boost.

Your boost may do that depending on how the conroller was initally set

i do have a question when i unhooked the vac lines from the turbo and the w/g the one vac the that you dont use what do you do with that just put a screw in it to block it off or what??? also im seeing 10lbs at 1/4 to 1/2 throttle just driving normal. seems like there is just that one postion for it to start boosting and the turbo is making a loud woooosh sound....i mean it will boost up at real low rmp`s.. how ya like the sound effects :D

Thats technically incorrect. Your boost can not be lowered below what your wastegate is set to, a boost controller can only raise boost higher than initial spring rate. If the lowest setting on a car is 11psi stock and that is what our wastegates are set at (dont even know since I ditched the stock turbo so quick) then you can only raise boost.
