What rabidfox said. Read through the checklists, the full timing belt replacement document, and the notes on making the special tools; print them all out, because you'll be referring to them like a bible while you're doing it the first time. I'd also suggest getting the shop manual and one of the Haynes or Chiltons books to give you a couple of different perspectives on it, assuming you're new to this kind of work.

I'm sure we'd be glad to answer any specific questions you have on parts of the procedure after you've read that material over first.

(A quick search would have pointed you in the right direction, by the way. Search Google for 1g DSM timing belt change, and the first result has a bunch of information available for you.)

Go to the Vfaq.com (LINK POSTED ABOVE!). It will list EVERYTHING you need to do the timing. Its not too hard, but you need to know what your doing in there. I would recommend purchasing the Mitsu tools mentioned. I have done it twice now with out them, but its a pain in the ass.
