ok, i recently found out that my engine blew, i guess it mite have been crankwalk or not but my crank went and so did one of my piston rods, so now i want to get a 1g 6 bolt block, now can the block be from a non turbo engine, or does it have to be from the turbo engine? Also can i use my 2g pistons with the 1g rods, i heard the pistons are better than the 1g? Now a friend of mine has a block and im gono find out if its a 6 bolt but before i buy it from him, if it has the 6 bolts on he flywheel, does it necessarily mean its the 4G63 engine im looking for? i belive its from 90-92. Any info is appreciated, thanks :thumb:

ok, i think i found an engine block, its a 6 bolt, it was looked at by a friend and i can probly get it for cheap but i no since theres a 1.8 for the 1g i wana make sure i dont buy that one by accident, is there a definate way to tell the diference between the 2? Its not the entire engine, just the block, no oil pump, pistons/rods, head, manifolds, flywheel or turbo, so can anyone tell me how to tell the diference? thanks :thumb:
