2nd gen turbo head question?

I bought this motor from this guy, who said he had a 2nd gen turbo gst eclipse. When I looked at the head it was bronze inside. Is it possible to have a turbo head that has the color bronze inside? And the head also does not have the studs sticking out of the exhaust manifold side like mine on my 96 Talon TSI?

The bronze color is from oil and the studs were probably taken out. Heads that were on motors in which oil changes were neglected or off schedule would turn a bronze color.
