what should i set my psi at?
i have hks cams, mbc, uicp, k&n and a sm16g ported and clipped.
should i wait for the exhaust before i go to high i was thinking around 12 before i get exhaust.

Does anybody know where to get a carbon fiber hood for a 1g?

"17psi"

Um no. You need to upgrade your fuel pump first. Stay below 14 psi with those mods at least. 12 would be safe for now.

you can get a CF hood from VIS racing i think there like 350, with like 100 shiping but thats to FL i dunno about alaska hehe

I run 16psi with 14b, K&N, SAFC, bmc, Boost Gauge (essencial !)

You can safely run 15psi, but only if you have boost gauge. never rely on factory gauge.

I leaned mixture out just a bit using SAFC to avoid fuel cut, but then again, I don't push it hard too often. If I did, I'd probably rather have a fuel cut then detonation....

btw, here's a carbon fiber hood:

they also got red one. (Pic doesn't work, but they do carry it)

"17 psi" is completely capable in a stock 1g, as long as your car is in good condition. It would be a good idea to get an EGT though just so you know what's goin down inside that lil 4G63 of yours.
