A few q's about the N1 3" system FWD

Hey guys,
my plans have changed an i am planning on buying an apexi N1 3" cat-back for $250 from a guy who crashed his car. He is also selling me the 3" downpipe for $100 but i have to weld the plate since he was running T3/T4. I want to know if anyone here is running this full set-up(downpipe + cat-back) and if it's really loud considering it has no cat but it does have a resonator built-in.

Also can i attach a custom downpipe(so i can attach high-flow cat) to the N1 cat-back?

no its not that loud, but i was one decible over the law with the silencer out(only on deceleration) but yeah, great exaust, big power gain
