wg actuator pinch

just got my big 16g on, and when i put my intake pipe on, it fits snug against the line off my wg actuator. Will it break if i try and bend it? what can i do>?

THe WG arm is steel so you can bend it and it shoud not break. I would however, try and move stuff around so nothing is touching it. If something is touching it, the arm may not open and cause the turbo to over boost because the wg is not working,.

yah thats what i was getting into... Today, i installed the intake and routed the boost controller from a different place, and it seems to work alot better, thanks alot !

Was it a home depot intake or an ebay 3" intake? If so, yes it does rub until it rubs through the line and you have a boost leak. I have a dejon intake I could sell you. I had the same problems with my depot intake. All 3" full intakes will rub on it as they dont bottle neck down. may be willing to make some kind of trade if you have the a metal 3" intake though. I will need one for my 50 trim. Email or pm me if you have any problems. -John
