Hey guys,
I have a 1g Talon AWD, but the problem with it is that it has over 100,000 miles on it. I am in the process of getting a new air intake, turbo timer, blow off valve, and a full exhaust. But my eyes have been eyeing the new FP3052. For some reason when my eyes first saw them, I couldnt think about anything else. So I am thinking about getting one, but I am not sure what to do about my motor. Should I try looking for a 2g with less miles, or just keep the 1g and either do a motor swap or rebuild the bottom end. My plan is for a 12sec daily driver, so I need something that will be reliable on pump gas and wont fall apart on me. If you guys have any recomendation, I would appreciate it.

If all you're looking for is a 12sec daily driver, a 16g variant would much better suit your needs. Hell, you could do it with your stock turbo if you can drive, you'll need a boost controller and probably a fuel pump though too(along with the mods you said you're getting).

Bone Stock motor will handle 12's no problem. And yah your stock turbo will also go 12's.
I think you should concentrait on other things then a Turbo right now...

HELL NO do a compression test make sure the motor is in good running condition and go for it. :thumb: the stock 6 bolt bottom end will support in the neighborhood of 450whp

i know that the FP3052 flows 52 lbs per minute... but is it a 56 trim or what trim?!!.... and where would it spool fully?

TIM

It is a GT37 52trim.(not a 7 blade HKS 52trim) New stuff from Ballistics concepts. And everybody loves new stuff. A few poeple have had them on for awhile. But no one seems to have any impressions or numbers on it yet.
