what is max boost for evo iii 16g w/ stock injectors?

What kind of boost can I run on this set up.

The reason I am asking is I am currently running 15 psi on my T-2small
and have already ordered my Evo iii turbo, mani, and O2 housing. My next upgrade is going to be an ACT 2600 and XACT flywheel. So it will be a while before I can get the fuel controller and upgraded injectors. I'm a poor man in a rich mans world. Can I increase my boost just based on the turbo upgrade and the fuel pump? I run 93 octane always.
 
I'm running lean above 6K rpm with a T28 @ 15psi and stock exhaust...I bet your results will vary and you should just datalog and set your boost accordingly.
 
no offense but every car is different! for me the max im willing to go on pump gas on my small 16g is 20psi. I would assume its the same for a evo 16g. Just buy the turbo put it on run 15psi then when you get your injectors go to a dyno and slowly turn it up. And get a logger and see when your timing starts to get pulled and then see if you can correct that with adding fuel. No one can really say what the max boost YOU can run is. Get it and find out yourself, id say no more than 20psi on pump and 20psi is pushing it i would think.

edit** i dont see a fmic so scratch that 16psi even after 550's the stock IC will heat soak and suck. get a fmic then you can go higher.
 
i ran 19psi on stock 450's, I had an instance when it creeped to 21+ psi and like it wanted to give more fuel but it woulnt like it was gettin locked up. This was on a small 16g.
 
right now im running 19 psi on my evo3 16g with 450's. egts tonight were right at around 1600 - 1650. temp was 70 degrees out. i have a fmic.

i dynoed at 243 wheel horsepower with this set up, but that was after about 18 runs tuning with an safc, im thinkin i have alot more power because my car was so hott.

well i logged tonight. im pulling a whole degree of timing by only 5500 rpms.... somethin has gotta be wrong and i need to figure out wut.
