for you right now i would defintely go with a 16g, that would be the best bang for the buck you know?

I have the same question...just didn't want to post it again......I looking at makeing 450hp what would be the best turbo for my ride?
doing a 4g63 swap into a 95 talon awd
thanks for the help

You want 450hp at the wheels? Or just 450hp total? If it's at the wheels, I wouldn't go with anything smaller than a FP Red. The Green COULD do that, but it would take damn near perfect tuning and TONS of boost. A 20G will get you 450hp at the CRANK, on race gas and big boost, but not very easily.

My suggestion to you is to cut your teeth on something smaller, then upgrade.

I hear those trimmed turbos aren't very good. Like I said, if you want 450hp to the wheels, don't try anything smaller than a 50 trim.

Oh, and BTW, when you get some HP #'s measured at the REAR wheels, please let us know how you converted the car to RWD.

Thanks,
Mike

my goal is around 400 at the wheels ... a 20g tuned perfect can't do that? What turbo would you guys suggest? I have a 16g ported on there right now and I want the new turbo to just "bolt up" with what I have now. :thumb:
