Greddy Type-S Installation on 1G

I'm installing a greddy type-s bov on my 1G i was wondering if anyone new what was up with the 2 nipples on the side the big one goes to my boost controller does the little one go to the air intake manifold to eliminate the T?

Leave the nipple open.

so I should leave the litte nipple open and run the normal T to the airintake manifold and the other side to the waste gate?
