14b turbo UPGRADE for 2g...

Youd have to buy an installation kit so all your lines will bolt up. You could pay too much to get a new one (could buy 16g), or you can find a used one. Im selling mine for 10 dollars to someone, so it goes to show.

dood u shood seriously jes bi a 16G. it has way madder top end, y0.

How about more english next time, sport.

I'm serious about the 16G though.

That's the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Whoever told you that is a moron. The 16G and 14B are made up of basically the same parts. The 16G has a different A/R on the turbine housing and a larger compressor wheel. Otherwise they are identical. My 14B lasted 145K miles, still worked fine, but I wanted to upgrade. My friend has had a 16G for over three years and about 50K miles. Sounds reliable to me, sparky.

mitsubishi makes a big 16 and a 16g and 18g and even the 20g.... and they have all been shoved into the 4G63 engine since that is the mitsubishi racing engine... so about the overheating, im just gonna sit here and let u figure out my hint with this post....

You do not need and install kit to put on a 14b or even 16g. all u need to get is all the 1g lines and a little fuel line. you just tap the oil off the head like the 1g's, put the 1g oil return on since it fits the 14/16g, the 2g is a little diff. then just bolt the coolant lines to the turbo and cut the off and use the fuel line for coolant lines. Get a plug to plug the hole in the 2g oil filter housing, and get a 14b compressor outlet pipe use some stock ic piping and there u go.

Get the FP Big28 Turbo from www.forcedperformance.com

Its $750 with the exchange of your T2small.

And you dotn have to worry about the hassle of installation or pay out $200 or more for an installation kit.

The FP Big 28 bolts right up to all the stock lines and bolts, it is said to be equal to the small and big 16g.

Think about it, $600 for a 16g + $200 installation kit = 800, you can have the direct bolt up fpbig28 for $750 and its easier to install.

BTW, When going with a 14b, you are gonna need all kinds of parts off teh 1g car also, and most likely the turbo is gonna have alot of miles on it and need a rebuild soon.
