I know this is kind of off base, but I was wondering how difficult, and how much it would cost to put a 4G63T motor into a 97 mirage?
I was thinking of building the ultimate street sleeper, and this is one of the things I came up with.

if u did it on your own and doing a fwd 4g63 w/tranny and no internals u could run about 400 hp and get it in your car for about $3000 maybe.

u can pick up a 4g63 at a junkyard for about $800-$900 bucks drop a new turbo on it for $1000. and maybe some other parts and have money left over for mounting hardware and stuff.

well like any project that isnt supposed to be, like this one were there really isnt anything thats made to put the 4g63 into your car youd have your fair share of problems. you would need to have the tools to do it all.... welder. metal stock and a way to cut and drill it. its more of if you have the tools to do it because its going to require some customized parts that ull have to make on your own. after that finding places for an intake and exhaust souldnt be to hard. the other hard thing would to be to connect the drive trains. im not really sure how to do that. ill find out when we do the swap in my friend cavalier seen on my website.
