have an Mutt ETE-32 and did a 1G head swap everything went pretty smooth got everything back on cept for the turbo. The 1G waterpipe has an outlet (which 2G waterpipes don't have) on it that the waterline threads into and the turbo gets halfway on and hits it. I know the turbo fits 1Gs there are a few people on this board that have one. Any tricks to the trade? Here's a diagram:

Yes there are some tricks bust out the hammer! and make it fit! you might have to flatten out the water pipe a little to make it fit!

My problem isn't denting the waterpipe in its the coolant return from the waterpipe itself in the diagram there is a little check mark where that outlet is.
 
Buy a manifold spacer plate from hahn. you will also need long arp manifold studs, hahan has those also. do it once do it right.
