I know I will get flamed for posting Intercoolers of EBAY

http://cgi6.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/...oostcoolers&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=50

But please have a look at the Intercoolers in the link. Are they any good? the prices are great. I am going to have a local fabricator build my Charge pipes.

They all seem to be spearco cores? or at least thats what the paint says:rolleyes: if anyone has a intercooler from this seller please comment. Im running a big16g what core size that he sells would be best thanks

Whats up with the APC badge on the pics?

From what I understand these are the old stock from Spearco that was their previous tube and fin core design they don't want to sell anymore. So they are a true Spearco intercooler.

There's nothing really wrong with them at all, they are the right ball-park range that your getting a quality piece, not that this means anything but if the were 1/2 the price of this it would be different.

They will probablly work just fine on any car.

If you look at the pics though, they are showing bar/plate cores not tube/fin like you suggest.

those dotn look too bad, but considering your just getting an IC that probably was not designed to fit your car, no pipes.. etc they are not really THAT cheap..

I bought this one and I got the short piping from Victory since there core is almost identical in size.

The core is awesome! Besides the price, my timing dips from the stock SMIC overheating are gone. The power up top was noticably gained. I would definitly recommend the core that I got. There is some bumper trimming involved but I dont know any FMIC that doesnt involve that.

Here are some pictures of it installed

I was wondering if you noticed and peformance gains rather than having the side mount. i dynoed my car at 220 HP at the wheels and the tuners at that place said if i got a front mount my car would be a lot faster? what do you think

Yeah of course. The SMIC heats up really bad with aftermarket turbos. With my big 16g it caused my timing to dip at only 15psi which means I losing power. I would definitly suggest a FMIC in the future and some upgraded injectors, fuel pump and a AFC.

If they are so legit then why do they have to spray paint spearco on every one of their cores?

Lots of cores have Spearco spray painted on them. It's the old school thing people used to do. It probablly helps sales as well when people see spearco right on the core.. Then it's "cool".

I have a spearco core that I ordered driectly from spearco. Arived in a turbonetics box with a receipt directly from turbonetics. You think it has spearco anywhere on the core? Nope.. Thats because they don't need to rely on their name to sell cores anymore.

My buddy with a turbo TEG got one. He then gave me the shitty FMIC from his kit (its just a place filler). Anyway....that thing is awesome. Welding was mindblowingly good....I am getting one...

I will agree with that. The welding was superb.

Sounds like a good deal to me then. I have a buddy local that can fab Charge pipes for cheap. It would be a sweet deal.

How is the piping from victory routed? are you making a 180 degree turn on the left side going back? Or does your turbo elbow for the IC face the driver side?
