2.4 or stay with the 4g63?

one of my friends wants to trade me his 91 talon awd for my 95 esi... he said the block is blown, but he will throw in a 2.4 block... how hard is the conversion to do? is it just bolt in or what? i dont really know anything about the 1st gens so if yall could help me out i'd much appreciate it. should i just trade the 2.4 block for a 4g63 block? lemme know.

If you have the money I would do it. Lots of time involved to do a 2.4 swap. If you want to go for it, just remember your friend has your running car while you have to get the AWD running again. Its all you on this one.

would it be easier/quicker to just get a 4g63 block and put it in?

It would be easier to get a complete rebuilt motor or JDM motor and put it in. But where's the fun in that?

the main thing would be getting it running since i would be giving up my RUNNING (but slow) daily driver. i cant afford to have something that doesnt run. i think thats what i'll do anyways.. just get a 4g63 block and build it internally and throw it in.
