I have looked around at several different posts, and discussions on several pages, but i don't have a clear answer on what exactly the difference between a 3-angle and a 5-angle valve job is. The company I am going to have do it, will do a 3-angle for $125, and I havn't asked about the 5-angle because I wasn't even sure what exactly the performance difference was. I'm not even sure if this is the best forum for this but i'll ask here anyways. Thx in advance

P.S. I have the 1990 4g63t.

5-angle gives you a more rounded seat and smoother flow, which matters more on a normally-aspirated engine than a turbo.

A "blended" seat smoothes off all the corners away from the seating surface, which is of course hand-honed with the finest-grit Clover Valve Grinding Compound available.

It's all a matter of how much time you have to spend on it, or how much of someone else's you can afford to buy.
