Which BOV is better?- HKS ssq w/recirc. kit or turboxs type H-34
And when i say "better" i dont mean which one sounds better, I mean which one is more reliable and will do what it is supposed to do better.
Thanx for the input.

I would go w/ the HKS SSQ. I had a good friend with the H34 and he said it just sucked, so he sold it.

I have the HKS ssq and ran 17psi which is hardly any boost at all, but it never leaked....the couplers don't count though because I have 7psi boost leak from them now. hah My friend has the h-34 running 16psi and doesn't have a problem. I doubt you're running that much boost to worry about which one holds more. In whic case, get the HKS because it sounds better :) haha

The h34, but I'm biased.

Both are probably going to do it for you...the ssq has a more unique but I don't really like it that much.

HKS.. I had the H34, I got tired of the sound that every other turbo vehicle around had.. That and the looks I got when it sounded like something snapped everytime I shifted. (Man, I miss the sound of my car completely.) HKS SSQV now, has an interesting sound.. As far as performance, they both work equally well, so one isn't noticeably better than the other.. Guess it's all a matter of choice.

I got the HKS and I never had a problem with it until recently...My car idles like shit and sometimes even turns off while its on. I am pretty sure its because of the BOV...I do vent to atmosphere and im like 100% sure thats my problem, but I hear that if you recirc. tthe BOV sounds like crap. I like my sound on the HKS and I plan on gettin tuning devices, but not in the near future, so I guess I am stuck with it. Although it does perform well other than the shitty idle and check engine light. Other than that its ight.

SCC quoted it as sounding like "a seal being beaten to death." <--definitely a little different.
