hello dsmers i have a question regarding a cataliytic converter. i have a 3 inch exhaust and i am not sure if i should go with a straight pipe or leave the catalitic convertin in. will the performance be that much of a diffrence or not thanks for any help

Since you live in Cali. you gotta pass emissions, so your best bet would be to go with a high flow cat instead of a test pipe. Although the test pipe is the better route to go.

#### that shit, and #### california's stupid ass nazi smog laws i celebrate everytime I pass smog. Just get the test pipe and swap in the cat when you need to get your car smogged.

cause chances are even with a high flow cat if you don't "tune" your car right before you go to the smog station then you still aint going to pass even with it. So you might as well just get the benefit while you can and then swap out stock exhaust when you have to get smoged.

HIgh Flow cat should be adequeate. Gotta preserve the environment you live in. You guys dont know how much nature affects you. I dont understand all those people who bash on the environment...the people who abuse the environment are abusing themselves.
