hood scoop

i want to make some mods to my hood, but don't know where to start.
i"m going to mount my intercooler in the engine compartment, so it will need some air circulating through it. So i thougt a directed hood scoop
would work. but due to aerodynamics i would like to move the opening to the near front of the hood and have it run back to the intercooler, around the air manifold.
any sugestions about atatching the scoop would be appriciated.

2. Why mount an IC in the hottest place possible?

I bought intercooler off ebay from a used mitsu somthing, the dimentions are around 2' x 9" x 3", so it wouldn't fit in the front right. Plus i would feel better if it wasn't so close to the ground( in the case of bottoming out)i was thinking that bolts and pop rivets would do the trick.

Put the bumper back on it should keep that intercoer in place.
