Can someone tell me what the differences between the
91 Laser RS (16 valve, 2.0L, DOHC, 135hp) head and the 4g63T head is?
Is it the same head with different valves, ports, etc? They look the same from what I could see.
The reason I ask is that I found a Laser RS in perfect condition in the junkyard and I was wondering if it would be worth grabbing the head and intake mani.
Thanks

Yes for cams it depends on what year you are looking at.

ALL 90's used "Non-turbo" cams
the 91-94 Turbo heads came with better cams than the nonturbo's just like he said.
The 93-94 head is the best because of superior coolant passages.

You mean I can put 91-93 Turbo cams on my 90 GST and pick up
some HP and torque ? Enough to be worth the effort ?

Correct, althought you could already have "91-94" turbo cams. I'm not sure on teh build date they started using better cams on the turbo's
