max boost?

whats the max boost you guys are running with the stock intercooler and not getting anytiming dips? I have a 16g turbo and 660cc injectors along with a bigger pump and all the piping is upgraded but I get 18 degrees of timing at 6300 and then it drop to 16 degrees at 6500 and makes its way back up to 18 degrees .... dips like that scare me so I might have to turn the boost down a little? I am running 19.5 psi but its through the stock intercooler ...

yeah,that thing must be heat soaked like crazy,a FMIC would be ideal.

yea no joke but fmic cost a lotta $$$ so until I get that I am stuck with the smic. At how much boost can those stay efficient?

you should be alright around 16-17lbs.
