I will also Port everything so I don't get boost creep problems.

My goal is to make 375 to 400 whp, with the less turbo lag.

That's why I wanna hear from you ETE32 Owners. Tell me your experience with Extremeturbo.com and Performance of the turbo, Max Boost At XXXX RMP, Any Lag problem? WHP you made with the turbo. Just try to sell it to me ;)

Btw if something missing in my setup please tell me.

I know SEVERAL poeple that had the infamous "MUTT WALK" in 2K miles or less. Why would you take a chance when places like AGP and Forced Performane have near perfect records? And are selling thier products for the same price?

I put well over 10k on my ETE 32 without any problems but sold it because of its small exhaust housing.

Also, I'd be very leary of extremeturbo.com -just looks fishy to me.

I'm about to buy another "big" turbo... Its either going to be from AGP or FP.

Spool was fast (small exh housing).

I ran 12.21@115 with it on a completely stock motor (100% stock from TB to exhaust manifold).

The ETE32 from Extremeturbo.com comes with a custom casted stainless steel exhaust housing on it. I have had two different turbos on my car from Extremeturbo.com and the only reasons I had any problems with them was went I upgraded once and on the second one I stalled the car after a hard run and cooked the oil in the turbo and FUBARED the shaft.

Stay away from dsm-performance.com It is owned by an exhaust company that is trying to get into the turbo market and they have little to no experience. I gave them a chance and they did not instill much faith in their turbo building ablitlies.

Ive ran 11.7 @119mph with an ETE32 on my 90 AWD at 4200 ft elevation. Stock cams, 2.5 inch exhaust. Full weight car. Full boost by 4000 rpm. No idea what it makes for horsepower, its never seen a dyno. The turbo is two years old, still solid.

Stock Josh

These turbos suck if you use the head to supply oil. they will suck even faster. Search *mutt walk* i posed some pics of my BuTT level 3 that walked to 1500 miles.

Thanks for the reply!

GSX4LIFE: I know... but if the one from extremetrubo is solid then it will be a good buy I think. Btw I'm also considering the RS49 from AGP turbo!
-49 lb/min compressor
-50 trim T04E compressor
-76 trim T31 turbine wheel
-T04E (3" inlet, 2" outlet) compressor housing
-Setup for manifold mounted or O2 mounted external wastegate
(internal wastegate optional) at 900 US$

Boost Junkie: Wow 12.21@115 almost stock is pretty good! where did you buy your turbo extremeturbo or dsm-performance? any problem with it?

IPT: So you bought your turbos from extremeturbo.com... please explain what problem you have I don't get it... btw will you buy and other turbo from them?

Stock Josh: What compagny did you buy your ETE32 ?

jdmawd: Yeah I know you had problems with that turbo... I don't understand toughts... I need more explaination... did you bought this turbo from dsm-performance or extremeturbo.com .... also what can we do to prevent this to happen!

Buy something else. PTE,FP PTE or AGP has a similar turbo with a custom housing.

I have a PTE 50 trim and a nasty 3" tubular o2 hosuing with about 40 miles on it if you are looking. The o2 housing have about 2000 miles on it.

I feed mine from the head...... no problems. Bad deal for you JDM. I bought mine from Daniel when he was at DSM-performance. Im not sure if he is still there. DSM-performance is now owned by ATR I believe. ATR is a good company that has made parts for the buick and cyclone guys for years, and they make really nasty sound exhaust systems for DSM's...........

I've followed the shop closely. I sorta knew David and Daniel when they owned DSM-Performance when it was in AL. At that time it was the same shop as exterme-turbo.com. I bought my turbo from them at this time. They then moved to SC, where they moved in with ATR, an exhaust and grand national shop. They worked as seperate companies for a few months and then things began to merge. Now, its pretty much all ATR except for one DSM-Performance chick to answer the phone... and she doesn't know a thing! David and Daniel are gone. I think Daniel is the one behind extremeturbo.com.

I live about 25 mins from ATR/DSM-Performance so I go in there occasionally to get "generic" DSM parts. She couldn't even get my a exhaust manifold gasket... I had to go into the back and find it myself. I've dismissed both places now. I don't trust either... both DSM Performance and Daniel have screwed me over. Why not just buy from AGP or FP? The Green is about the same turbo, but will go faster overall.

Montreal Quebec, eh?

Maybe once your car is ready and running you can take me for a ride. :D

Hey! :Sure why not?:)But that's will be next summer tought. where you from btw ? Québec city? Parle tu francais?

Hehe, next summer sounds great! I'm in the west island... Ile Bizard to be exactly. Et oui je parle francais. :D

Daniel is still building turbos at extremeturbo.com ATR screwed him over so he went back to AL to start all over again.

The problems that I had with my turbo was because of other things on my car or my driving. IF you stall your car after a 1/4 mile run and you have a STEEL trust bearing in it, the turbo will not survive. (That is what happened to me.) If it has a brass trust bearing it MIGHT survive.

I did just get my new turbo and I ordered it from Extremeturbo.com check out my pic in the gallery.

Mod list seems okay, although I don't think it is necessary to blow your wad on 800cc injectors which are overkill for that setup. Get some Denso 660s and you'll be good to go.

most of the problems ive read about the mutt turbos stems from people who are used to haveing a wet turbo, and didnt let their cars cool before shutting them off.. you cant do that with a dry turbo..
